I created these resource for A Level OCR Theology course, but it could be used for any exam board. They are a revision sheet containing some key A01/A02 information on the concept of Sigmund Freud's view of the conscience. It could be used as a handout, for students to make notes and summarise into their own words. Or, it could be used as an example for a flip learning activity, where students take control of their learning, they could doing this by summarising what they know and creating a presentation to the rest of the class in groups, using this sheet as a starting point. The resource itself is a revision guide containing notes and simple revision activities, on the concept of the defense of God. Focusing on two different theodicies - Augustine’s Theodicy and Irenaeus’ Theodicy, as well as the Free-Will defense. I created this resource for A Level OCR Theology course, but it could be used for any exam board. It is Plato revision lesson, focusing on his analogy of the cave. It contains LO's and Success Criteria, there is a range of tasks to complete, to help students revise and recall all the key information needed for understanding Plato analogy of the cave. The lesson focuses on capital punishment, giving students an inisght to this type of punishement and how it’s used around the world and what different religions view points are. Ready to go and fully adaptable! Also, included are all mentioned resources and full lesson plan, explaining all! Includes fully differentiated Lesson Objectives/Outcomes based on Bloom’s Taxonomy; allowing students to take charge of their learning by focusing on what they want to achieve by the end of the lesson. Includes, an interactive starter, with music to help stimulate students learning, key information; facts figure, religious view points, students will need to make note of these for the main activity. This resource is a complete exam revision lesson, in the format of a series of 1, 2, 4, 5 and 12 marker questions taken from a mixture of Theme A (Relationships and Families) and Theme D (Religion. Peace and Conflict) to support students with their timing. I framed this lesson as a ‘Revision Cafe’ lesson as a means for student to informally practice their exam technique, times and structures. I brought some donuts in for students (hence the donut theme). The questions and slides have the suggested time to be spent answering the questions on a timer which plays automatically when needed for that question - this is to help students with their timings etc. All answers, prompts and exam specific are included in the slides. There are also slides for students to independently reflect on their learning and revision so far. This resource is a complete revision lesson for Origins of the Universe, within Theme B. Included is a retrieval grid challenge starter to recap key words and some key concepts, big picture of our learning slide, learning outcomes, what the AQA exam spec says, RAG rate learning and learning concepts with an A3 revision worksheet for students to work on throughout the lesson. The lesson is designed to be teacher led, however there is opportunities to use a revision textbook and for discussion to suit your teaching style. There is also space for students to do some dual coding on the A3 revision sheet and to assess their gained knowledge and understanding by answering some exam questions. The first section has the 7 different conditions of the Just War Theory for students to know and understand. The second is space for students to identify any problems with the condition, this will help them with explanation and evaluation points for 12 markers etc. The final section is space for students to apply the Just War Theory to a specific war as a case study example to support their written answers, for examples WW1, WW2, Falklands or Iraq Wars etc. The resource is completely editable but designed in an easy to read, follow and complete way.
